Content Creation Prompts – how to use them
In content creation AI is best as a draft and idea tool, not a content factory. It is great for title options, outlines and different angles, but without your experience, examples and point of view, the text looks like everyone else’s. Readers and search engines reward text with original information.
Verify generated text with your own knowledge before publishing, enrich it with your own examples and remove anything untrue. Mass-producing similar pages with the same prompt can count as low-value content for search engines; each page needs its own real information.
- State the target reader and topic clearly.
- Ask for a title and outline first, then have sections written one by one.
- Add an example from your own experience.
- Verify facts and figures before publishing.
Example: a weak prompt and a strong prompt
Weak prompt
Write a blog post.
Strong prompt
Suggest 5 different headlines for a blog post, make them curiosity-driven: staying focused while working from home
Sample output generated with Claude
1. Five invisible traps that wreck your focus at home
2. Why a 6-hour office task takes 9 hours at home
3. The 3 rules I set for working from home (and broke the first one on day one)
4. Productive from the kitchen table: 7 small setups that really work
5. The hours lost to “just one minute”: a home-office focus guide
Note: title 3 assumes personal experience; use it only if it is true for you.
This output is an example from running the strong prompt above with Claude. Results can differ in ChatGPT, other tools or at other times; check the output yourself before using it.
Frequently asked questions
Will Google penalize AI-generated content?
Google does not penalize content just because AI helped write it; it penalizes low-value, mass-produced content. Enrich it with original information and your own experience.
Should I use it for titles and outlines or full articles?
It is very efficient for titles, outlines and ideas. Review and edit a full article with your own knowledge before publishing.
Is there a copyright risk?
Before publishing, check that the output does not closely match another source, and credit sources where you quote.
