What it measures
It checks the page you enter across 5 categories and 33 checks. Access: page response, HTTPS, whether Googlebot and AI bots can open the page, robots.txt permissions, noindex. Discovery: sitemap, llms.txt, canonical and language tags. Readability: title, description, text in the raw HTML, structured data. SEO Basics: lengths, heading order, image alt text, internal links and a broken-link sample. AI Citability: question-style headings, short answers under headings, FAQ consistency, freshness, concrete facts, brand identity and trust signals.
How to read the result
You get a score out of 100 and a grade from A+ to F. If the page is closed to search engines (noindex, or robots.txt blocking Googlebot) the score is capped at 40, because the page cannot show up in search anyway. The dark panel at the top shows how your page answers when requested with each bot identity. The report also shows mobile and desktop speed scores from Google PageSpeed, Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, TBT, FCP, Speed Index), your social sharing card, your heading tree and, if you like, a side-by-side comparison with up to 2 competitors.
When a check fails
Every warning and error explains what the problem is, exactly where it sits on your site (which file, tag, link or image), how to fix it step by step, and gives example code you can copy. The "Fix these first" list orders problems by the points they cost. You can save the report as PDF, download it as a .md file or paste the fix prompt into an AI assistant.
What it does not measure
It does not run JavaScript on the page; it measures what bots see in the raw HTML. Rankings, backlinks and factual accuracy are not measured; page speed is measured by the Google PageSpeed service, not by us. The citability checks are heuristics, not official rules of any AI product. Bot tests run from our server using the bot's identity name; the real bot's IP address may be treated differently.
Your data
The address you enter, and the target keyword if any, is sent to our server (a Supabase Edge Function); for the speed measurement the address is also sent to Google PageSpeed Insights; the page's public HTML is fetched and inspected on the spot. The scanned content and the result are not stored. For the daily limit, your IP address is kept briefly in one-way hashed form; the raw IP is never stored.
Limits
No sign-up needed. Each person gets 10 free scans a day, and each competitor in a comparison counts as 1 scan; the same domain can be scanned at most 40 times a day across all users. A single page is scanned, not the whole site. localhost, private network addresses and raw IP addresses cannot be scanned for security reasons.
FAQ
Does this tool directly affect my Google ranking?
No, it is an analysis tool. But fixing what it flags (a blocking robots.txt, a missing sitemap, weak titles) can help search engines and AI bots understand your page better.
How is the score calculated?
Category weights: Access 25, Discovery 15, Readability 20, SEO Basics 20, Citability 20. Checks that do not apply (e.g. alt text on a page with no images) are left out. Grades: A+ 95 and above, A 85, B 70, C 55, D 40, F below 40.
Does the target keyword change the score?
No. The keyword section only shows where the word appears; accents and letter case are ignored.
Why does it say "the scan could not run"?
The site may have timed out, have too many redirects, block our scanner, or the address may point to a private network. The error message explains the reason.
When should I use it?
After publishing a new page, changing a template, or touching robots.txt or firewall settings. It is not a substitute for a full SEO audit (backlinks, competitor analysis, content quality).
