Net-Gross Salary Calculator (2026)

Calculate your take-home net pay from a gross salary, or the gross salary needed for a target net. Uses 2026 SGK, income tax, and stamp duty parameters.

Net-Gross Salary Calculator is built to avoid the common mix-ups that come with this kind of calculation; just enter your numbers. Net-Gross Salary Calculator helps you skip the small mistakes that come with doing this by hand — rounding errors, mixed-up formulas — enter the numbers and get the result instantly. The whole process happens locally in your browser; nothing is sent to a server.

Step-by-step

  1. Choose a direction under Calculation direction: grossToNet works out take-home pay from a gross salary, and netToGross finds the gross needed for a target net.
  2. Enter the monthly amount in Amount (TRY). If you have an annual figure, divide it by 12 first.
  3. Click Run.
  4. Compare the result with your payslip or offer letter. If they differ, consider which month of the year it is and any extra payments.

When is it useful?

Salaries in Turkey are discussed both as gross (brüt) and net figures, and job conversations often leave it unclear which one is meant. This tool shows how the two map onto each other under Turkish payroll rules. Employers can use it too, for example to find the gross cost behind a net salary they plan to offer a candidate.

Example

You received a job offer stated as a net monthly amount, while you know your current salary as a gross figure. Select netToGross and enter the offered net to see its gross equivalent. With both gross figures side by side, the real size of the raise is easy to judge. It also works the other way: if the offer is gross, grossToNet shows what you would actually take home.

Things to keep in mind

  • Turkish income tax is calculated on a cumulative base through the year. Your gross can stay the same while your net drops in later months as you move into a higher bracket.
  • The portion of a salary equal to the minimum wage is exempt from income tax and stamp duty, so deduction rates look different for low and high salaries.
  • Tax brackets, the social security (SGK) ceiling and the minimum wage are updated every year. Check current figures on the official GİB and SGK websites.
  • Bonuses, meal or transport allowances change the outcome. For an exact payroll figure, ask your payroll team or an accountant.
